These are my interpretations of the parts of the Deca 1 kite - I have since acquired a copy of the manual and renamed the spars according to the Guildworks naming.

  • Not to scale!
  • Only the left tip is shown (hence the 'L' after the letter).
  • Bridles are shown in Magenta - if a bridle passes behind anything else it's shown as dotted.
  • Spar AL-BL: Wing Spar (marked Silver on the end caps & spars)
  • Spar EL-FL: Vertical Spar
  • Spar CL-DL: Main Left Bow Spar (marked Gold on the end caps &spars)
  • Spar DL-DR (not shown):Main Central Bow Spar (again marked gold)

These are the measurements I took of the Deca 1 spars.

Main Bow Left & Right C-D 73cm 6.35mm 2
Vertical Spar Left & Right E-F 51.5cm 6mm 2

* I suspect that this section should also be 73cm, 6.35mm carbon fibre
