Brookite Pockite

home : single line
Bookite Pockite

This was purchased for my eldest daughter when she was 5 and predates even the Revolution EXP. It's extremely simple to fly - attach the line and let it fly and that's it! In it's time some fun was had with it but now it's been overshadowed by other things.

Purchased: April 2001

Good Things

  • Simple.
  • Safe for small children.
  • Impossible to break.

Bad Things

  • Can't do anything futher with it.
  • Can be frustrating to fly in gusty wind conditions.
  • Needs a reasonable wind to get going.

Final Thoughts

This has been stuck in a bag, in a box, in my utility room for the last couple of years until I brought it out to write this page. When the children want to fly anything now it's either the HQ Delta Dancer or the Decathlon Parafoil that gets choosen.

Having said that it's a nice simple kite for very young children, especially at the beach with the good clean winds. For older children get something else.
